Pretty much every Wednesday night for the past sixty-plus weeks has been dedicated to Football Manager.
The game, that is.
I’m sure of this detail as I’ve got the podcast to prove it – The Football Manager Football Show – where this lad and myself spend a few hours a week trying to get the better of each other over a glorified spreadsheet before spending an hour in a studio recapping it all while still trying to get the better of each other.
We’ve been to Argentina, England (twice), Spain, Turkey and for the past month or more we’ve been hanging out in Italy, following the journeys of Inter and Milan. Hundreds upon hundreds of gaming hours (it was two nights a week for the early part of the first lockdown) have gone into creating well over 60 hours worth of audio content detailing the highs and lows of life as a virtual football manager.
If you’re in the mood for a sweary football-focused podcast where you’re assured of a new episode in your feed every Friday morning, hit up The Football Manager Football Show on Spotify, Apple Podcasts or wherever you do your podcast listening.
At some stage I’ll get around to opening up fmfshow.com. I might even get around to updating kenmc.com with some save details too.
